How should we deal with Disagreement?

Details

*Collaboration with The Friendly Philosophers*

Hi everyone,

In this meeting we will ask "How can we better deal with disagreement?"
Disagreement is a feature of our lives and our political discourse. But it strikes me that many disagreements these days are not very productive.
To help address this, I invite you to bring their own thoughts and approaches to disagreement you have found useful and share them with the group!

I will also bring and share some of my own perspectives, tools and techniques of dealing with disagreement that I have found useful, based off studying philosophy and experience in professional life, along with a couple of activities that we can try.

The session therefore may take the form of a a bit of a mixture of workshop and discussion. However, it will be a flexible and open approach, and will be responsive to the feedback I receive on the day. I'm open to others demonstrating their successful disagreement methods as well :)
