Tom Watson is taking on a new stewardship in aligned spirit to what we were up to in solarpunkification month

We're inviting aligned allies, co-creators, and collaborators to co-convene with us at Creative Community Studios at 435 Broadway—a storied venue now in financial turnaround and creative revival. Louis Armstrong, Patti Smith, Dead Kennedeys, REM, Green Day, Ramones, Iggy Pop, Metalica, etc. played there along with comedians such as Whoopi Goldberg, Dave Chappell and many more. 100 years of music. Its more than 12,000 square feet. The space has ~220 hours a week of space that can host events, 4 rooms, two floors. Room for 400 upstairs and 300 downstairs, more in the future with an elevator
Whether you bring somatic practices without sound, musicians without a conference, or a conference in need of an after-party with live music, need to stack dinner with dialogue, we’re cultivating a cloud of cooperation—a revenue-sharing, plug-and-play ecosystem where your brilliance fits right in. We are thinking of events before and after eachother and with thematic adjacency and overlapping audiences as radical collaboration opportunities.
Let’s honor 100 years of cultural legacy—from Louis Armstrong to punk rock to now solarpunk—and reimagine what’s possible now.
