What we’re about

Welcome! This is a group for anyone and everyone who is interested in innovation, design thinking, creativity, problem solving, user insight, research and development, business design, commercialisation and anything in between.

Our purpose is help share knowledge, inspire creativity and connect likeminded individuals that are involved, or interested, in innovation in Tauranga and the Western Bay. We started off with a focus on Design Thinking, and still include lots of that, but we've expanded over time to cover anything do with creating impact from ideas.

Our Meetups run every two months, from 5PM to 7PM, and usually on the first Tuesday or Wednesday of the month.  We’ll generally have panel of two or three expert speakers sharing their stories and insights, but you can expect plenty of audience questions, discussions, and contributions.

So, if you’re an innovator, creator, designer, developer, marketer, maker, entrepreneur or anything else that involves doing new stuff then come along! We welcome everyone from experts to the curious - so come along, meet some new peeps and enjoy yourself.
