A social group for people who love desserts, cafés and trying new places.

We organise casual meetups at dessert spots across London — from cookie dough places and milkshake bars to hidden cafés, waffles, cakes, brownies, gelato and late-night dessert runs. Some events will be relaxed café catchups, others might be dessert crawls where we try a few different places in one evening.

The group is mainly about discovering good dessert spots, meeting people who enjoy the same thing and creating fun foodie content along the way. We’ll sometimes take photos and short videos during meetups for social media and for Dessert Detective, including reviews, venue highlights and group moments.

If you’d rather not appear in photos or videos, that’s completely fine — just let the organiser know when you arrive and we’ll make sure you’re not featured, or you can be blurred out if needed. There’s absolutely no pressure to be on camera and plenty of people may just come for the social side and the desserts.

Whether you’re into viral TikTok places, cosy cafés or underrated hidden gems, you’ll probably find something you like here.

Most people come on their own or with a friend, so don’t worry if you don’t know anyone. It’s meant to be friendly, relaxed and easy-going.
