Destination Medford is a volunteer powered tourism initiative run by private individuals with a background in business, social media curating, and event promotion. Destination Medford was asked by the township to promote this event. Destination Medford is run primarily by Abbie Galie and sponsored by Lower Forge Brewery.

Chanukah Village Walk
Main Street Medford, Main Street, Medford, NJ, USChabad in Medford is delighted to announce the return of the Chanukah Village Walk, a joyous holiday celebration that will once again light up Main Street with the warmth and spirit of Chanukah.
This family-friendly event features festive activities throughout Main Street, where local vendors will welcome participants into their shops and onto the sidewalks for crafts, treats, and fun. Highlights include a trackless train, fire truck, mascots, traditional Chanukah treats, a Kosher Pizza Truck, and more. The evening will include our Grand Community Menorah Lighting right on Main Street, bringing everyone together in celebration of the Festival of Lights.
“Chanukah symbolizes light and hope amidst life’s challenges,” said Rabbi Yitzchok Kahan, director of Chabad in Medford. “This year, especially with all the challenges and turmoil around the world, the flames of the Menorah remind us that even a small light can overcome great darkness. Every act of kindness and goodness brings more light to our world. That’s the inspiration behind the Chanukah Village Walk, a chance to unite in hope and celebration.”
The celebration begins at 5:30 PM at the Medford Village Park Gazebo, 16 North Main Street. Participants will receive a complimentary Chanukah swag bag and a map of participating vendors before embarking on an evening filled with holiday cheer.
This year’s Grand Community Menorah Lighting will take place at 6:15 PM, right in the midst of the Village Walk, in front of the War Memorial on Main Street—a powerful moment of light and unity for the entire community.

- Latkes, donuts, and hot cider
- Chanukah video truck presentation
- Crafts and activities
- A photo booth
- Chanukah beer at Lower Forge Brewery
- Chocolate gelt, music, and more
- A Kosher Pizza Truck offering pizza and fries for purchase
