Portland is a strong, resilient city, but it needs help. Join SOLVE on Wednesday, September 20 for our monthly Business District Cleanup, sponsored by Gervurtz Menashe, to beautify our city, keep our waterways clean, and protect local wildlife from the harmful effects of trash. Know that the work you are engaging in has many benefits for our community, our local businesses, and our environment!
Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

What to Bring: Volunteers are encouraged to bring any personal supplies that will help our resources go further such as garbage bags, work gloves, buckets, trash grabbers, etc. If you bring personal belongings wear a backpack so that you can pick up trash hands free. Wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather. Bring a rain jacket if the forecast calls for rain and wear sunscreen and a hat if it is sunny. This event will go on rain or shine. And it is also recommended that volunteers bring a re-usable water bottle to stay hydrated during the event.
What's Provided: SOLVE will provide trash grabbers, trash bags, work gloves, and high-vis vests.
Restrooms: No public restrooms are available
Parking: Street parking is available. Be mindful of signage and time limits.
Transit: The MAX Blue and Red line stop nearby. You will get off at the Old Town/Chinatown MAX station, walk west on NW Everett St, turn right on NW 3rd Ave, and the Lan Su Chinese Garden will be on your right.
Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
