Hey Psychic Tarot Friends, just wanted to let you all know that the monthly Psychic Tarot Zoom events have come to an end, as Kelly steps away to focus on a new project (more about that coming in September).
In the meantime, we're launching a new tarot series, hosted by Chet, on the 3rd Thursday evening of every month, here at the shop. Please keep an eye on this page for an official event announcement and more details coming very soon. Many thanks to Kelly for keeping the Zoom sessions going for the past couple years!

New Year's Tarot with Danya

Special guest teacher Danya Smith will be returning to the Boston Tea Room to host her fantabulous New Year's Tarot event, and we are THRILLED. Join us, and bring a Tarot-curious friend for this fun-filled occasion. Bring a Tarot deck (you can arrive early and buy one if you don't already have one), a pen, and a notebook. Some basic knowledge of tarot is helpful, but enthusiastic novices are welcome.
Here's a general outline of what we cover during this session:
Release what you want to leave in the old year and declare what you want to create in the New Year. Learn about the year card for 2026 and discuss how it might influence the year to come. Receive an in-depth overview of The Wheel’s place in The Fool’s Journey. Discover how to navigate the septenaries in the Major Arcana to enhance the depth of your readings. Engage in several tarot journaling and spread reading sessions.

The handouts for this session are full color and 44 pages. We have expanded this event to a half-day workshop to provide participants with sufficient time to navigate the materials. You’ll leave this session with an experience that will set the tone for 2026, and with resources that can carry your tarot practice through the next year.

Danya D. Smith is a software engineer living and working in Metro Detroit. She has been a Tarot enthusiast, student, and collector for over 20 years and has taught Tarot and hosted meetups and workshops for the Detroit Area Tarot Guild since 20103 attendees
