Hybrid Hive Mind: Collaborative Building with AI [Partner Event]

Details

You're invited to a special partner event:
Hybrid Hive Mind: Collaborative Building with AI

Note: Registration on Luma is required: **https://lu.ma/49qxjuu9**

Join us for a collaborative workshop that explores how small groups can work alongside AI to enhance creativity, accelerate thinking, & discover new patterns of collaboration through structured experimentation and reflection.

DESCRIPTION
In this interactive session, we’ll explore a new workshop framework designed for exploring how small groups can work more effectively with AI to enhance creativity and productivity. This workshop will be structured into four phases during this evening session:
1. Pairing and brainstorming
2. Building sprints
3. Contributing to a shared "Hive Mind" repo
4. Demos with reflections
You’ll experiment with AI as a creative partner. The workshop is built on the philosophy that AI is not just a tool, but a "pacing companion" that helps maintain momentum, a reflection that mirrors and expands human thinking, and an attractor that draws out new patterns of thought. The workshop emphasizes experimentation over perfection, co-creation between humans and AI, reflection on the thinking process, and playful exploration of new ways of working.
The goal is not just to create outputs, but to explore what it feels like to think, create, and evolve alongside AI, discovering new ways of collaboration and self-discovery through the interaction with artificial intelligence.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Josh Crites is a developer educator and creative technologist with deep experience in helping builders explore new ways of thinking, learning, and creating with emerging technologies. With a background in blockchain education at organizations like ConsenSys, Celo, and Aztec, Josh has taught thousands of developers how to build in Web3. But his work extends far beyond blockchain.
As a developer advocate and workshop designer, Josh focuses on unlocking collaborative potential—between people, and between humans and AI. His teaching blends technical fluency with structured creativity, offering spaces where experimentation and co-creation take center stage. From organizing Ethereum hack nights to mentoring developers across disciplines, Josh creates environments where innovation flows naturally, even in unfamiliar territory.
