Miss Marching Band? Me Too. Let’s Start One!
I'm looking to bring together adults in Michigan who still light up at the sound of a drumline. The vision is a traditional style marching band — for fun, connection, and maybe even some parades, field performances down the road. I'm thinking traditional old school with some modernization to our performances for sure, some funk for sure, but definitely not a party atmosphere. Check out the wondeful Detroit Party Marching Band for that!
I am creating this free group to guage interest. It limits me to 10 people. If it gets full, message me about your interest. There is so much more behind this vision then I can put here.
No auditions, no pressure — just people of all skill levels dusting off our instruments and rekindling that band magic.
Everyone is welcome, LGBTQ friendly — from longtime players to those who haven’t touched their horn in years.
