Sunday in the Park-Bike Ride

Let's go biking!

This bike ride is meant to be a social bike ride. We'll bike the 5.4-mile loop trail around Belle Isle. Generally considered an easy routee, it is a popular trail for viewing birds and other wildlife, as well as other river activities.

Being that Bell Isle has such fantastic views I don't expect the group to stay together as many will want to stop and admire/take photos etc. We'll make sure everyone is accounted for at the end of our time together. No biker left behind!

We'll meet at Flynn Pavilion where there are bicycle rentals, if needed.

You can choose your time level. I've scheduled the ride for two hours. Plan accordingly.
*If you need to rent a bike-please do so before the event. There will be a 15 minute organizing time and we will be leaving no later than 1:15 pm. Please be on time, we aren't waiting.

You will also need a DNR Recreation Passport if you haven't paid for it with your car registration, or you can purchase it when you enter the island.
