About us

Welcome to Detroit STEM Group! We are a STEM oriented meetup group that specializes in educational experiences for kids. This group is aimed at discovering and solving the unmet needs in STEM around the Detroit/Windsor region. We are committed to inspire the love of science and curiosity in children. This group was founded as a means to expose kids and their guardians to STEM disciplines through the use of robotics, game design, practical electronics and easy to understand programming exercises using SCRATCH and Python.

NOTE: Any meetup session assumes a parent or a guardian will participate with a child. The meetups are free to attend.
