Portuguese Language Meetup in NORTHVILLE, Michigan!!!

Vamos lá, pessoal, tô sentindo falta de vcs!

I hope to see you all on Wednesday, April 3rd, at 7 pm/19h, at Gaúcho Brazilian Steakhouse in Northville, a long-time group favorite, for the next Portuguese meetup. I had to cancel our last scheduled meetup based on lack of interest, but hopefully this time will be a go. (As a side note, my minimum number of confirmed RSVPs to hold the meetup is 5, including myself).

I would love to see many new and longtime members at this meetup! The always free pão de queijo at Gaúcho is amazing... not to be missed if you haven't tried it already. If you have, you're likely already addicted, like me! And the caipirinhas are some of the best I've ever tasted ;)

Please note (especially for new members/first-time attendees): we generally just have drinks and appetizers at the bar (or a table if there are enough of us), not the full rodízio dinner, making it an affordable evening out with friends.

The somewhat more central location of Gaúcho makes it relatively accessible for both our east AND west side members. I hope everyone will make an effort to turn out that day for another fun evening of conversation, EM PORTUGUÊS!!

As always, we welcome members of all proficiency levels. We speak in both Portuguese and English but come prepared to use the Portuguese you have! Native Portuguese speakers will feel right at home and will have the chance to meet local people who share a common love for their language, both native and non-native alike. Beginners will find that our members are very supportive in helping and sharing learning tips. What better way to improve your proficiency than to practice and share your experiences in a fun environment with people who understand your passion for Portuguese?
