Social - Durham

Our first event will be one of our socials, with a few short lighting talks from developers around the area. Don't worry, these are optional and there'll only be a few, but if you'd like to share a short 5 minute talk about your team, please get in touch with us here or with one of the organisers!

Hosted at Waterstons Durham HQ, the venue has a pool table, projector and pizza, and promises a friendly no-pressure environment to solve challenges with your colleagues in the region or just expand your network.

Format of the lightning talks:

• What your company does and where
• The types of things your team work on and the tech stack they use - a chance to share something interesting about your work!
• Any particular challenges your team facing at the moment
• What you love about the region!

We're planning some technical talk style events coming soon, so watch this space if that format appeals to you!

Timings:
We'll have the office space from 17:30 so don't worry if you get here a little early! Talks probably around 18:10 to let everybody get there, pizzas before 19:00, chance for networking and questions until 20:00 - see you there!
