Dev Talks Meetup – Introduction to Terraform

In September 2019, we organized our first Dev Talks Meetup. So far, we have brought together hundreds of IT professionals around the globe to discuss diverse and interesting topics, share experiences and grow together.

So, save the date for “Introduction to Terraform” with Eldin Mekic, Infrastructure Engineer at AP, who will be our host. Dev Talks Meetup will be held on May 25th, 2022 at 6:00 PM (CET) / 10:00 AM (PST) / 7:00 PM (TRT) via MS Teams.

Introduction to Terraform

In this lecture, we will get to know what Infrastructure-as-a-code is and what Terraform is. Then, we will take a look at the capabilities of Terraform and its differences when compared to other tools like Azure resource manager templates. Later we will jump to a practical demo and see how Terraform can help us deploy and manage our infrastructure on Azure.

When asking Eldin about his team, he proudly says: “I’m a part of the best team – the Infra team!”

He took his first steps in the IT world as a Software Developer intern at AP Lab. During the AP Lab training program, Eldin took an interest in DevOps, and today his focus is still mainly on DevOps and cloud technologies. He enjoys introducing DevOps culture to new projects and automating tasks to optimize the software development lifecycle.
