Dev Infra on Steroids: Building the Infrastructure to Test and Deploy Mobile and Desktop Apps Hundreds of Times a Day

At Shapr3D, we develop one of the most complex applications running across iPadOS, macOS, visionOS, and Windows. Over the past three years, we’ve built a robust infrastructure capable of executing up to 100,000 automated tests per pull request across hundreds of machines, enabling us to test and release updates frequently and reliably. In this talk, I’ll share insights on how we incrementally built the system, starting with the three Mac minis and how we plan to introduce auto-scaling virtual machines to dynamically adjust our infrastructure to meet growing demands.

Towards Realistic Virtual Humans

Generative AI is revolutionising the way we create and interact with virtual humans, unlocking new possibilities for scalability, realism, and creativity. In this talk, I will explore how advances in generative models have transformed the process of building hyper-realistic avatars. We will discuss how these innovations enable a more flexible and efficient avatar creation pipeline, redefining workflows that were once heavily reliant on time-consuming artistic modeling and animation.
