Join us for an insightful fireside chat with two accomplished software engineers who successfully transitioned from writing code to building successful deep tech startups. This is a rare opportunity to hear from David Lakatos, CPO of FormLabs and co-founder of Sold, and Istvan Csanady, Founder and CEO of Shapr3D, as they share their journeys - what it’s like to start as engineers, become entrepreneurs, and eventually grow into leadership roles.

Introducing history-based parametric modeling in the Shapr3D architecture was one of the biggest and riskiest project we ever made in the history of our product. It was like upgrading a biplane single-rotor engine-based plane to a twin-jet airplane mid-flight without risking a crash. We will go through an exciting engineering and product story with some severe turbulences on the way but hopefully land with some valuable insights and learnings.

This English-language event will be held at the Shapr3D office, where we'll provide snacks and drinks to fuel conversations. Arrival is from 17:30 at the office, the presentations start at 18:00.
