3:00 PM: 🎤 Speaker Alagu Prakalya P : A2A vs. MCP - Understanding Google's Protocols for AI Agent Interoperability

This session demonstrates the difference between Google’s Agent-to-Agent (A2A) and Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) through a hospital scenario.

MCP facilitates structured, secure data exchange between AI agents and external tools or databases, ideal for synchronizing patient vitals and medical records. In contrast, A2A enables direct communication and task delegation among multiple AI agents, supporting complex collaborative workflows like diagnostic analysis and treatment planning.

By analyzing specific workflow characteristics, this tool recommends when to leverage MCP’s data integration strengths or A2A’s agent collaboration capabilities, or when a hybrid approach optimizes AI-driven system performance.

We'll explore how large language models can be equipped with sophisticated toolchains that interpret educational content, plan visual narratives, and execute complex Python code to produce publication-quality mathematical animations.
