16.10: The lonely life of a remote worker (30 min)
Aaron Cossey, DevOps Engineer at FormBay
Aaron is employeed by FormBay will be talking on the challenges facing remote/distributed teams for both management and the contributors.
16.50: A startup in 5.5 locations (30 min)
Stephan Johansen, Software Engineer at Distancify
Distancify currently have employees in Skövde, Alingsås, Helsingborg, (Borås), Baia Mare (Romania) and Sapporo (Japan).
Stephan will be talking about which tools and processes Distancify apply in order to run a productive remote team.
17.30: Reciprocity Ring (15 min)
Everybody get the change to help fellow participant. We will ask
each person to make a request for help. Everybody else in the group then is challenged to use their knowledge and their networks to try to figure out if they can make the request happen.
The request could in theory be anything, but keeping it within the theme of the this forum advisable.
17.45: Open mic! (15 min + time we might have left)
Are you employed remote, are you employing people working remote or do you have remote colleagues, please join the conversation and tell your story.
