## Major Changes to QLD Property Laws: How They Will Affect You This Year
Major property law reforms will be rolled out in Queensland in August, impacting property investors and developers.
These changes include is a new seller disclosure scheme imposing mandatory requirements on vendors to provide “disclosure statements” and certificates to a buyer before entering into a contract of sale.
There are serious implications for all sellers (including property developers) if they fail to meet this new disclosure scheme – so it is vital you understand what you will now need to do when selling.
Accredited property specialist Simon LaBlack from LaBlack Lawyers Pty Ltd, will be joining us to explain the new requirements and what they mean for investors and property developers – so you can be prepared for what's coming.
About Simon LaBlack
Simon is one of only 25 Accredited Specialists in Queensland Property Law, assisting organisations and private clients in property law matters ranging from acquisitions & disposals, to commercial leases, development projects, disputes, subdivisions, compulsory acquisitions, and more.
