What we’re about
Developers Anonymous is a peer-led community for software developers and IT professionals to talk about some of the honest realities of working in the industry.
This isn’t a lecture, a networking event, or a place to show off your skills. It’s a confidential space where you can reflect on lessons learned with supportive peers, listen and empathise without pressure to speak, and talk burnout, stress, layoffs and the big mistake you made...yesterday ;)
Whether you’re a seasoned developer, a junior just starting, or somewhere in between, this is a judgment-free zone. Our format is inspired by peer support circles: guided sharing rounds, reflection, and open discussion. No names of companies or clients, just honest experiences.
To introduce myself as the host, I'm Aidan, and I'm a junior software developer of .NET, TypeScript, and Power Automate fame. I've slowly started to get fed up of feeling isolated in this career field and not being able to explain what I get up to day to day with friends and family, and some of the challenges that I face. Maybe you feel the same too, and I wanted to create this group to help people feel less lonely in this career path.
Whether you’ve been coding for years or just started, come along, share if you want, or just listen—this is a space for developers to feel less alone.
