One fateful morning, while you are going about your normal day of asking robots to do your work, your boss might say, "We have to get a SOC2 audit done to sell to Big Company. Can you do it?"
So you look at the O*F*F*I*C*I*A*L AICPA website (accountants!) and it is totally incomprehensible. When you ask people who have gone through compliance audits before, they wail and weep and say rude things.
