.NET Night (Visual Studio 101 and Tips and Tricks)
Details
Our regularly scheduled .NET Night, where we meet to discuss topics related to .NET and other Microsoft-stack development.
Anyone who is interested is welcome--you don't need to be a Microsoft coder. We commonly cover topics of interest to new programmers.
This month we'll be covering Visual Studio, including both a Visual Studio 101 section and a review of everyone's favorite super-secret Visual Studio tricks.
The presentation will use a example .NET project (Contoso University). If you like, you can bring a laptop with Visual Studio 2015, and the Contoso University project, and follow along during the presentation.
Visual Studio 2015 Community is available for free here: https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/community/
The version of the Constoso University application that will be used in the presentation is available here: https://github.com/MattConrad/vs-constoso-oct-2016
