Thanks for your interest in our yoga group! This is a group for anyone interested in movement, yoga, mindfulness, and preparing for childbirth and beyond. Join us in 'Deep Flow', prenatal, postnatal yoga practices to help you develop strength, resilience, and clarity.
About the practices:
- The 'Deep Flow' yoga class is a vinyasa-style practice designed to help you build strength and flexibility, and incorporate breath-work and meditation for a calmer mind and better work-life. This class is open to all levels and beginners are most welcome.
- The Bloom & Empower Pregnancy Yoga is a comprehensive course designed to empower you through every stage of your pregnancy, preparing you both physically and mentally for childbirth and parenthood. You will learn how to use movements and yoga asanas to strengthen your body and better position your baby, how to use your breath to tone and relax your pelvic floor, and tools and techniques to manage pain/discomfort during your pregnancy and labor. This course is open to all levels, those new to yoga, and women experiencing pregnancy ailments (sciatica, nausea, blood pressure issues, breech position, etc).
-Â In Postnatal yoga classes women are introduced to gentle pelvic floor exercises, core-strengthening movements, and yoga postures (that include baby) to help them rehabilitate after childbirth and bond with their baby(ies).
Breath work (Pranayama) is incorporated in all classes to help individuals deepen their practice and become more aware of their body-mind connection.Â
I believe that yoga is moving meditation. If you are new to yoga or a seasoned yogini, pregnant or recovering from childbirth, I welcome you to join a supportive group of yogis on the yoga mat! Aloha and Namaste!
