Kit Rocks - 14 mile circular

Hike Difficulty - 8 / 10 Moderate

This 14 mile hike will start and finish at National Park Visitor Centre, Postbridge PL20 6TH.

Meeting Point : National Park Visitor Centre, Postbridge PL20 6TH

We will be visiting : East Dart Waterfall, Cut Hill, Fur Tor, Winney's Down, Sittaford Tor, East Dart River.

This is a rather remote part of Dartmoor with scattered rock piles and Bronze Age Stone Circles. Rest assured that I have a good knowledge of the route we will be taking and will not veer from it.

The hike will be a comfortable pace with plenty of short breaks and a stop for lunch.The total walking distance will be 14 miles as advertised, which will take approximately 6 hours plus breaks.

You are responsible for your own safety. Remember to bring your lunch and plenty of water for the day (approximately 3 litres).
