Stoke Gabriel - 7km Paddleboard

This paddleboard will start and finish at the pontoon by the River Shack, Stoke Gabriel. Parking is available conveniently on the front, for £6 a day. Lift share is recommended where possible.

Meeting Point : 9:30am at the car park by the Millpond, next to The River Shack, Stoke Gabriel, Totnes, TQ9 6RD. This will give us time to inflate the boards and grab a coffee, to be out on the paddleboards by 10:30 latest.

We will be paddling along Bow Creek, visiting The Maltsters Arms for a drink by the water before returning to Stoke Gabriel.

This is a tidal river, so please be aware that a small swell may affect our return leg of the trip so this section may be slower. I have allowed extra time for this. You will need your own paddleboard to take part in this event, and to be comfortable on the water.

We will take a leisurely pace, and the total distance is a nice 7km.

This will be the first paddleboarding event for this group! Hoping to arrange more events in future if this one is a success :-)

You are responsible for your own safety - please wear a life jacket! Remember to bring your lunch or at least some snacks, and water for the day too.

For this event to go ahead we need ideally a group size of 8 people minimum, and it is subject to weather conditions.
