Join us for a Saturday walk from the beautiful market down of Sherborne into the Dorset countryside. Sherborne is known for its stunning Abbey and we will have time to visit the Abbey, along with the town's lovely architecture. Our walk will take us on a 9.5 mile (c. 225 m of ascent) circular route through rolling countryside, walking through Milborne Port and having a stop for refreshments at the lovely Laycock Farm Shop and Café. We'll then return via the parklands adjacent to Sherborne Castle, descending finally into Sherborne, near the railway station.

Trains are available to Sherborne - the 09:30 service from Exeter Central arrives at Sherborne at 10:35. There are hourly trains back towards Exeter.

You are welcome to bring a packed lunch. Some of us will have lunch at the farm shop café.

As the walk will take place in November, mud is very likely, so please wear appropriate footwear and bring weather-appropriate clothing.
