Kubernetes Meetup in Lugano

Ciao a tutti! Siamo lieti di annunciare il primo Meetup Ufficiale del gruppo DevOps & Security Ticino.
Durante questo speciale appuntamento, andremo a parlare di un argomento molto gettonato in ambito DevOps: parleremo di container orchestration, ed in particolare di Kubernetes!
Se sei interessato a Container, Kubernetes, Platform-as-a-Service, Docker, OpenShift o ad altri temi collegati, allora dovresti partecipare!
Un ringraziamento speciale all’USI (Università della Svizzera Italiana) che ospiterà questo primo meetup e che parteciperà alla discussione!

Hi all! We are excited to announce the first Official Meetup of the DevOps & Security Ticino Group!
During this first appointment we are going to cover a very special and popular theme in DevOps field: we’ll talk about container orchestration, and in particular about Kubernetes!
If you’re interested in Containers, Kubernetes, Platform-as-a-Service, Docker, OpenShift or in topics related to these technologies, you should join us!

A special thanks to USI (Università della Svizzera Italiana) that will host our meetup and that will participate to the discussion!
The event will take place on June 6th at 6 pm in the “black building” of USI (IT department), room SI-003.

But now, let’s move on to our awesome talks about K8s:

• First of all we’ll introduce briefly Kubernetes and its main functionalities in the container world
• Then we’ll introduce the most recent solution updates
• We’ll then continue talking about some Docker & Kubernetes use cases
• Finally, we’ll have a great networking & socializing moment with pizza & drinks
