Enterprise Scale DevOps in Azure

Thanks to Westpac, DevOps Auckland can finally have another in-person event. In case you've forgotten, in-person is vastly more engaging than online events. :)

Large Enterprise environments have a wide range of platforms from different vendors and require more challenging tasks like recovery plans, end-to-end automated deployment without manual intervention and high-security standards. Using Azure DevOps along with Terraform and other well know tools, we will discuss our experience automating the deployment of a hybrid solution using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and On-premises Kubernetes.

Our Presenters are: Andrew Sumner, currently a Senior Engineer at Westpac, focussing largely on DevOps and increasing team speed. Throughout his career, he's worked on a wide variety of problems and architectures, ranging from on-premises legacy software to Azure. A large focus at Westpac has been around supporting a number of teams with technical advice and training with Terraform and Azure, and maintaining the on-premises infrastructure to support these tasks. Bruno Lucas, Senior Engineer with more than 15 years working with software development. His focus for the last five years has been developing solutions with Power Platform using Azure to integrate with on-premises systems and Azure DevOps for the delivery.
