Cloud Native Security: Why Securing in Day 1 is Not Enough

Our presenter is Eilon Elhadad, GM Software Supply Chain Security at Aqua Security, and on a brief visit to New Zealand. He has a background in practical defensive cybersecurity, and co-founded the security company Argon, now acquired by Aqua Security.

In the past 2 years, we all witnessed the severity of the software supply chain threat, demonstrated by the attacks on SolarWinds and Codecov. CICD pipelines are now the norm, so these threats exist in most organisations.

In this presentation Eilon will dive deep into some real-life supply chain attacks and expose the risks and some remedies for our CI/CD pipelines, illustrating how to protect ourselves from security threats that exist even before our code goes live.
