Abstract: After many years in leadership, David has returned to coding and the terminal and found a transformed tech landscape. AI pair programmers now complete code snippets, language models help design systems, and generative AI is reshaping development workflows. His journey back to hands-on engineering has provided a fresh perspective on how these tools are changing our work. The future isn't about replacement; it's about finding new ways to collaborate with technology. This talk shares David's observations and opens a conversation about how developers can effectively adapt in this new era of AI-assisted development, where simplicity and human judgment remain valuable even as our tools rapidly evolve.
About: David is a tech veteran with 25+ years of experience who now runs All Tuner Labs as CEO. At Spotify, he founded the SRE team and helped lead their cloud migration. After years in leadership, he's recently returned to hands-on coding, discovering a transformed landscape of AI-assisted development. Through his company's platform Castuner, he's helping creators better connect with their audiences. He co-hosts two tech podcasts, "2048 enllà" and "Entre Dev y Ops," where he shares insights on software engineering and emerging trends.

We will explore a set of practices and tools that significantly enhance developer productivity during code reviews.
