An introduction to SRE, its history, and how it can be used to revolutionize your organization. Building on DevOps principles we then take you through the evolution of platform engineering and how it is changing cloud development forever.

About the Speaker:
Daniel Murphy is a Senior SRE manager for Deltek and the Founder of Shift Left Solution. He is a regular speaker at conferences on themes including DevOps, SRE, and cloud engineering. Having spent the past 15 years in the industry he is at the forefront of DevOps and SRE adoption in Northern Ireland and has a book coming out next year.

Talk two: "Some Inspiration for your DevOps lifecycle"
This talk discusses the inspiration behind rather than the practical business side of DevOps lifecycle. The talk includes a few demos of different parts of the DevOps lifecycle from planning -> testing -> deployment and discusses some of the lesser known cool projects.

Luke Lucas is a full-stack developer @ Synechron (Java Script, Python, and Java), founder @ Tekodot, and student @ the OU.

Talk three: "Engineering Excellence and paving the way to Continuous Delivery – a dev teams approach"

About the Speaker:
Martin McAllister has been working as a software engineer since the previous century with a career spanning local manufacturing companies to 5 years leading development teams on the trading floor in London. Martin is now a principal engineer in Allstate leading multiple development teams building Allstate’s new ASC platform
