We're thrilled to announce the return of a previous speaker and tech evangelist Joe McKevitt.
Joe will lead us through the high-stakes world of Incident Response - what he has learned from a previous life as a sleep-deprived software engineer on support rota for a financial trading platform right through to creating Uptime Labs for running realistic drills within minutes, as often as needed.

After dedicating the past two years to co-founding a startup uptimelabs that specialises in the incident response space, collaborating with various customers and organisations, and having the privilege of analysing patterns from hundreds, if not thousands, of incident simulations, along with the opportunity to work alongside thought leaders in Incident Management and DevOps, I have gained valuable insights into incident response.

These insights cover topics like Vanity metrics such as MTTR (yes, I'm delving into that), distorted perspectives on what constitutes quality incident response, and the introduction to concepts like adaptive choreography and process tracing for better understanding and managing incidents.
