Testing - Just Say No to No

Peter McCool will give an overview of automated testing - what it is, it's benefits, and how to sell it to those within the organisation.

After the presentation we will be breaking into virtual "meeting spaces". Bring your favourite beverage and be prepared to chat about devops topics of interest.

About our presenter:
Peter McCool was raised by quantum mechanics and so came to regard computers as a tool to do one's dirty work from a young age. He started his IT career in 1995, in desktop support. Since then he's been a UNIX system administrator, various kinds of developer, a tester, and a solution architect, among other things. DevOps, as something that involves all of these things and then some, fascinates him.

Time: Virtual doors open 7:15PM for 7:30PM start.

Venue: Zoom (the URL will be visible once you RSVP)

Food/Drinks: We'll be planning a social "meeting spaces" at the end of the talk. Relaxing with a beer in hand during this time is encouraged.
