DevOps & Infrastructure NRW #24 @InVision

Details
We already have a first talk scheduled for the upcoming Meetup in May, so here we go! Reach out if you want to fill the the remaining slot since I haven't yet received any confirmation from any of the interested parties. This time we'll meet at InVision again!
As always, expect a free vegan and non-vegan food option. Drinks are are on the house!
Between 2015-17 we were proudly hosted by sipgate until we switched locations to InVision until the Covid-induced hiatus in 2020. To kickstart the next iteration of this meetup we'll be rotating between InVision and sipgate next year, starting at InVision in January and sipgate in February. (Both locations are around ~600m from each other.)
We're already busy prepping some potential talks for you but we're also open to welcome anyone who wants to take the stage. Please reach out to Daniel Heitmann if you'd like to give a talk!
19:00 - Doors, dinner & drinks
19:45 - Automainter: Fully automated machine maintenance at scale by Maximilian Gass (mxey)
Babiel runs over 1200 Linux machines. All those machines need regular maintenance like security updates. How can we perform the required maintenance without it taking up all of our time?
20:15 - Break
20:45 - Kluctl & GitOps: Live demo of GitOps with Kluctl by Alexander Block (codablock)
This talk will showcase that Kluctl is not only a Kubernetes configuration management tool, but also a fully fledged GitOps solution that can easily compete with Flux and ArgoCD.
In addition to that, Alexander will also showcase the experimental Kluctl UI, which is able to show a detailed history of deployments with diffs, status and drift detection.
21:30 - Drinks, chat & networking
22:00 - Official end of the event (though doors close around 23:00)
