Fast Flow, Not Fast Fluff: Embracing an Eclectic DevOps Coaching Approach
This session explores the ongoing challenge organizations face in delivering value to customers. Real stories are shared to illustrate how an eclectic approach with practices from Lean, Agile, DevOps, and Team Topologies can address software organizations' challenges. You can expect actionable insights and practical tips to foster a better flow within their organizations.
Short Bio
Jacob Duijzer is an experienced software engineer, agile- and DevOps coach, and IT Consultant with over 20 years of experience. Specializing in leadership, agile methodologies, and DevOps, Jacob actively shares his expertise through talks and workshops. Additionally, he serves as a Team Topologies Advocate, contributing to the advancement of effective team structures and collaborative practices within organizations.
Beyond Passwords: Advancing Cloud Security with Identity-Based Access
Join us to look closer at improving cloud-native security, focusing on how to use identities instead of traditional passwords or keys to access cloud resources. We'll look closely at Google Cloud's Workload Identity and Cloud SQL Auth Proxy, showing how they help GitLab pipelines and apps connect safely and easily without needing long-lasting credentials. This talk will give you a clear understanding of these tools and how they make cloud security simpler and stronger.
Serdar Köktaş is a Cloud Engineer at GoodHabitz, with a rich background in DevOps and web technologies. Previously at Trendyol Group and Orion Innovation Turkey, he has expertise in system administration, platform application development, and operational automation.
Parking
We suggest parking at Eindhoven University of Technology, parking at the Auditorium, or Q-Park Kennedyplein (train station). Cards to leave the parking will be distributed at the meetup.
