Nolan is a senior engineer with 20 years of experience across a variety of roles, including systems, network and software engineering.

He has worked in a wide variety of industries, including but not limited to healthcare, education, mass media, and technology. He currently works as one half of the systems engineering team for petfinder.com. He has also in recent years served as a software engineer at Chef, DevOps engineer at PhishMe (now Cofense), and Cloud Engineer at Scripps Networks (now Discovery).

In what is left of his free time, he enjoys Belgian beer and Kentucky Bourbon, playing the guitar terribly, and the occasional video game.
