Details

Announcing our next event on Wednesday 17th May at Manchester Central, Windmill Street. This one will be a little different! Our venue plus food, drinks and after party are provided thanks to the kind support of DTX Manchester.

Important! You need to register for a free DTX Manchester ticket in order to access the Meetup. It should take less than 2 minutes to do this using our quick registration link https://bit.ly/3NAL7DZ

For this edition, our Meetup joins the DTX Manchester Fringe Programme. During the day of the Meetup, catch presentations by Dev and DevOps leaders from TUI, Beauty Bay, DWP, Jaguar Land Rover, Slalom Build, Codurance, AWS and Azure.

Then at 15:30, join us for our usual format of talks and group discussions. Varuna Venkatesh and Toli Apostolis from Cinch will be sharing how they help software engineering teams to grow in a talk titled "A Culture of Continuous Learning: a love letter to DORA".

Here are details about our talk and speakers:

Title:
A Culture of Continuous Learning: a love letter to DORA

Description:
We can gather the four key metrics, read the Accelerate book and the State of DevOps Report. But how do we put all the research into practice?
Join Toli and Varuna as they share how they help software engineering teams:
- Understand their DevOps maturity
- Visualise constraints and improve their value stream
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement that leads to effective change

Speaker Bio's
Toli is a Software Practitioner focused on optimizing team workflows and fostering collaborative communities. He specializes in DevOps, observability, and event-driven socio-technical practices, with a preference for serverless architecture and product thinking.

Varuna is a Principal Engineer at cinch. With over a decade of experience in a range of systems and architectures, she has a passion for continuous improvement and learning through community collaboration. In her current role, Varuna focuses on creating systemic solutions to technical and socio-technical issues to help teams achieve their goals.
