DevOps Manchester 37: Synthetic Monitoring | AWS Ephemeral Account Rodeo

Details
Announcing our next event on Thursday 12 December! We're at Auto Trader for our final meetup of 2024.
Now featuring two talks this month!
First up, Ash Lovett and Dylan Hicks join us to talk about Synthetic Monitoring on the Auto Trader platform.
Their talk will cover:
- The role that Synthetic Monitoring plays.
- What Checkly and Playwright do and why we chose them.
- How Platform teams work together with Product teams, and how synthetic monitoring can work alongside other tools to improve observability.
Following Ash and Dylan, our very own James Heggs will share his thoughts surrounding what he terms the AWS Ephemeral Account Rodeo!
James is Technical Director at Counter and he invites us to gather round the fire for a short story around AWS account management at scale: "When the disposable unit is the whole AWS account how can it be managed, lessons learnt and tips on tooling."
As always we'll have plenty of time for questions and discussion, so you'll have ample chance to contribute your own thoughts and experiences.
Time permitting, after the talks we’ll be continuing our popular ‘lean coffee’ discussion groups.
