*IN-PERSON* Repo and branching strategy!

Talk Description;
Repository and branching strategy. A talk explaining the different ways to structure code repositories, detailing Pros and Cons, when you could separate source code, CI code and IAC, briefly touching on application architecture and how monolithic and microservice design decisions can influence repo structure. Also how we can create effective branching processes using either gitflow or trunk based development.

Speaker Bio;
Andy has worked for 18 years in technology with the majority of that as a Network and Telecoms engineer. Before making the move to Cloud and all things DevOps.
He currently works as a Platform Engineer at BJSS based in Nottingham, he has also worked at Capital One as an Infrastructure Engineer and at AWS Professional Services as a DevOps Consultant.
He has designed and built serverless applications, ETL solutions, data warehouse solutions and digital forensics platforms for a variety of commercial and public sector customers.
