*IRL & ONLINE* How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Kubernetes

The Talk;

An application isn't working until it's deployed and working, and for microservices that probably means deploying to a Kubernetes cluster. If you're trying to prototype a proof of concept system without any Kubernetes experience then the time to "hello world" is measured in months rather than minutes.

In this talk I will be walking through the basics of Kubernetes, the tools that work alongside it, and a quickstart repository containing all of the scripts and examples needed to skip the learning curve and jump straight into the code.

If you want to follow along with Oliver during this session, please make sure you've got Docker Desktop installed + Chocolatey for windows or Brew for mac!
