This talk will cover the opportunities and risks associated with investing in generative AI projects. Attendees will learn how to evaluate potential internal investments, understand market trends, and mitigate risks.

GenAI in theory vs. GenAi in use today
What are the adoption rates, methods of use, and hurdles to overcome for broader acceptance of GenAI in the enterprise? Come hear from industry expert Jacob Redding on the trends, risks, and most common use cases for generative AI today and in the future.

Speaker: Dan Chernoff
Dan has been developing software and platforms since the heady "dotcom" days. His focus is on bridging the gap between software developers, leaders, and the data teams. If there was one thing he would say is most important, it would be "start with automation"
Dan holds a Bachelors of Mathematics and a Masters Degree in Computational Statistics (AI/ML) from Notre Dame University. Unfortunately for his family he is a doctoral candidate at George Washington University.

Speaker: Jacob Redding
Jacob Redding is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in open-source development, cloud computing, and distributed team collaboration. Over the past several years, he has focused on building machine learning pipelines on Google Cloud and leading large-scale software delivery projects at Accenture for Fortune 500 clients. In addition to authoring books, teaching, and serving as a graduate professor at Brandeis University, Jacob is active in the semiconductor design space, conversing on the impact of AI on semiconductor design and fabrication. He holds multiple industry certifications, including Google Cloud Professional Architect, and is recognized as a Master Technology Architect at Accenture.
Jacob holds a Masters Degree in Financial Analysis and started his career building datacenters with Debian Firewalls and Windows NT4 Servers in the overcast lands of Portland, Oregon.
