Speaker 1: Rob Lazzurs, Director of Technology at Amach Software and expert in the field of DevOps and Platform Engineering will be discussing how DevOps is now the mature approach to tackling the traditional culture issues in software delivery and Platform Engineering has come along in recent years as a different sociotechnological approach. He will be exploring the history of both approaches and will offer an opinionated view on which approach you should be using and why.

Speaker 2: Tom Cross, Technology Leader and FinOps Foundation TAC Member with 20+ years of experience, will be joining us from the UK to give an introduction to Cloud FinOps; what it means, what it’s about, why it’s not just about saving money and why engineers should get involved.
