We are delighted to welcome 2 speakers to our second Manchester event.
#1 – Ross Bamford – Principal Software Engineer @ CreateFuture
Ross Bamford is a Principal Software Engineer at CreateFuture with over twenty years in the software business. Having worked on multiple machine-learning projects in the past, Ross was an early adopter when the genAI revolution came, and has taken the lead on large, high-profile commercial genAI applications at CreateFuture, where he also helps lead the generative AI engineering community and evangelise the technology to anyone who’ll listen.
Title – AI For Everyone: Enabling non-engineers with Langflow
Ross will be giving run through of what Langflow is, how we as engineers can deploy and use it to bring our less-technical colleagues on the journey, real-world examples of things some of our folks have built, and he will touch on some war stories from a non-devops-expert deploying and operating the thing internally. He is hoping to work in some live demo / example usage too!
#2 – Benjamin Clark - DevOps Consultant
Ben begun work in the tech industry at 17, and over a decare later he has since founded and lead DevOps teams across multiple large organisations as both an employee and independent contractor. With a strong focus on elevating teams from just developing software to properly engineering software as a discipline, he believes strongly that the Software Development Lifecycle should apply across both Infrastructure and Application stacks.
Title - Data-driven Terraform for developers and users: Enabling self-service with a focus on readability and ease-of-use
Ben will be speaking about how Terraform with data structures and algorithms can drastically accelerate release cadence, enable developer self-service, and act as a foundational underpinning of best practice across an organisation!
