Michael Roddy, Software Engineer (Skyscanner): Skyscanner's journey through Infrastructure as Code
The whole Skyscanner infrastructure - including the product itself, the internal tools and business applications - is hosted on AWS. How to enable 800+ developers to build their own infrastructure as they want to without interfering with each other? The short answer is: using Infrastructure-as-Code. This presentation will give you an overview about how we do infrastructure deployments to AWS using Cloud Formation templates and our own Continuous Deployment tool, Slingshot.
