Details

Hello CloudGirls and CloudBoys!

Let us invite you to our next Budapest DevOps Meetup, featuring not two, but three insightful sessions that will equip you with the latest in cloud security, observability, and centralized secrets management.

In today’s fast-paced tech landscape, security ensures your systems and data stay protected, observability lets you spot issues before they escalate, and centralized secrets management keeps credentials safe and accessible—no matter how many clusters you run. Each of these pillars strengthens your DevOps practice, helping teams innovate quickly while maintaining robust, reliable systems. If you’re aiming to level up your cloud infrastructure, these talks will give you the practical insights you need.

📅 Date & Time: 12th March 2025, 17:30
📍 Location: Agora Budapest (1133 Bp.,Váci út 116-118 ) Raiffeisen Office

🎤 Exclusive Talks by Industry Experts:

1) Discover Emerging Threats in Cloud Security
Speaker: Árpád Csőke – ENT Solutions Architect, Amazon Web Services
Abstract: Ever wonder how AWS raises the security bar for millions of customers? In this session, Árpád will pull back the curtain on AWS Security engineering teams’ proactive strategies. Learn about the cutting-edge mechanisms and architectural choices that keep threats at bay and protect customer data at scale.

2) Efficient Observability from a Bird's Eye View
Speaker: Júlia Fodor-Horváth– Staff Software Engineer, Bitrise
Abstract: We live in a data-driven world. But collecting more data doesn’t necessarily mean achieving better insights—especially if it’s not handled efficiently. Júlia will walk us through Bitrise’s transformation journey toward streamlined monitoring, explaining which tools and methodologies helped them boost customer experience and operational resilience. She’ll also reveal what’s on the horizon as they continue to refine their observability stack.

3) Centralised Secrets Management with ESO + KCP
Speaker: Gergely Brautigam– Software Engineer, Kubermatic
Abstract: Tired of juggling secrets across multiple clusters? Learn how to centralize secrets management in a multi-cluster setup using the External Secrets Operator (ESO) and KCP. Gergely will showcase how a central ESO deployment seamlessly distributes secrets to KCP-provided clusters—enabling developers to securely access Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or local Bitwarden without extra overhead or complex user management.
