Join us for our first ever Lean Coffee meeting. Engage in meaningful, devops-focused discussions without the constraints of a rigid agenda! This dynamic format allows you to bring your own topics, vote on what matters most, and dive into focused, time-boxed discussions. Whether you're tackling deployment challenges, exploring new ops tools, or sharing best practices, this is your chance to collaborate, learn, and innovate with fellow devops professionals. See you there!
We'll meet at the same place as last time. (Improving's Training Center in Independence, right off of I-77/Rockside Rd).
## Agenda ##
Doors will be open at 5:00pm, and we'll start with some networking and discussion about DevOps in Cleveland while enjoying some food and beverages courtesy of Improving.
We will start around 6:15pm, and afterwards they'll be more general networking right up until doors close (9:00pm).
## Format ##
1. Welcome and Introduction (5 minutes)

Briefly introduce the purpose of the meeting.

Explain the Lean Coffee format to any new participants
2. Setting Up the Board (10 minutes) -
Participants write down topics they want to discuss on sticky notes or virtual cards.

Place all topics in the "To Discuss" column.
3. Voting on Topics (5 minutes) -
Each participant gets a set number of votes (e.g., 3 votes).

Participants vote on the topics they are most interested in discussing.
4. Discussion Rounds (45 minutes) -
Start with the topic that received the most votes.

Set a timer for 5 minutes for each topic.

Discuss the topic until the timer goes off.

At the end of each round, decide whether to continue the discussion for another 5 minutes or move on to the next topic.
5. Wrap-Up and Action Items (10 minutes) -
Summarize key points and decisions made during the discussions.

Assign action items and responsibilities.

Set the date and time for the next meeting.
6. Closing -
Gather feedback on the meeting format and any improvements for next time.
