SaltStack: Configuration Management From Cloud Images to Developer Desktops
Configuration management doesn’t stop at servers. On Wednesday, September 23rd, DevOpsDSM welcomes John Lengeling from Source Allies for a look at how SaltStack can provide a consistent approach to configuration across cloud infrastructure, servers, and developer workstations.
John will explore SaltStack’s architecture and how it can be used to build Azure images and AWS AMIs, manage server configurations, and provision developer desktops. He’ll also discuss how Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation can help teams reduce drift, improve consistency, speed up onboarding, and maintain reliable environments across platforms.
