Join DevOpsDSM on Wednesday, December 10th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Source Allies or online for a presentation from Travis Smith (Shift Interactive) on 'Accelerating DevOps Practices with Claude Code'.
This session will demonstrate how AI coding assistants like Claude Code can help streamline DevOps workflows by automating the repetitive setup of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring configurations. Through a live coding session, Travis will show how to build a full DevOps pipeline with Terraform for AWS, GitHub Actions for deployment, and integrated monitoring and alerting.
Beyond the technical demo, the discussion will highlight where automation ends and human expertise begins. He will cover cultural practices, incident response, and architectural decisions that drive lasting DevOps success.
