Join DevOpsDSM on Wednesday, May 27th from 6 to 7pm for a session with Dan Sepich from Nobl9 titled “Beyond Firefighting: Managing Reliability with Service Level Objectives.”

As delivery speeds increase, especially with AI assisted development, reliability often becomes reactive. This session explores how Service Level Objectives can make reliability measurable, enforceable, and part of everyday engineering decisions.

Dan will share how SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets help teams align on expectations, validate whether systems are meeting reliability targets, and shift from responding to incidents toward proactively managing reliability.

Dan Sepich is the Director of Enterprise Reliability Solutions at Nobl9, where he helps organizations build SLO programs as part of their SRE strategy. Prior to Nobl9, he was a Senior Engineering Manager at Principal Financial Group, where he supported infrastructure and application platforms and helped lead the development of their SRE program.

Hosted in person at Source Allies and streamed online. Food and drinks will be provided for in-person attendees.
