Presenter BIO- Matt Braafhart

I’ve been working in the IT industry for 22 years, building software and information systems for finance, insurance, government, education, manufacturing, real estate, and healthcare organizations. I began my career working as an entry level web developer and moved to leading development teams, mentoring, architecting software solutions, advising organizations on IT strategy to running multiple SaaS startup businesses.

I have held different roles in software development teams at several organizations utilizing various processes and methodologies and through those experiences I have come to a better understanding of what makes one team more successful than another. The organization’s culture, people and process plays a vital role in its ability to deliver high quality software at high velocity with predictability.

In my current role I am a Cloud solutions architect and DevOps guru for Sogeti-Capgemini where I assist in building successful software development teams to deliver world class solutions for our clients.
